 unit 1 reflection
In this unit, I learned what is the culture. The four characteristics of culture are learned, inculturation, share and adaptive. Culture is an iceberg. It includes technical culture, formal culture and informal culture. I also learn the culture identity and culture shock. When I studied the culture shock, I researched what is the culture shock and surfed the internet to find some examples. I completed the project about the topic is 3 commonalities in a movie. How I learn? I read the text about culture. If I don’t understand the meaning, I would surf the internet or asked the classmates. My Aha moment was when I looking for movie our team want to choose, I saw a specific movie I have watched. I think the essence of this unit is that culture is various. I didn’t know that what is the culture shock before. When I learned the culture shock and knew what its meaning, how many stages and what feelings. I learned how to avoid and ease the culture shock. In the future, if I experience the culture shock, I will try to use these method to ease. Maybe now I don’t make sure I know everything clearly about the culture. But I will continue to study the culture.
